Our website is owned and operated by areabe. a trading company of Wagstaff Bros LTD, a company incorporated in 1934 in England & Wales with registered number 295393 and whose registered address is 9 Brewhouse Yard, London, EC1V 4JR. This is the user agreement that governs your use of this website and the provision of the services we provide you. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these website terms at any time without further notice. If we do this, we will post the changes to these website terms on this page and will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new website terms. It is your responsibility to regularly check the website to determine if there have been changes to these website terms and to review such changes. Please take the time to read these terms as it is important for both of us that you understand our contractual relationship both relating to your use of our website and the services we provide you. You will be asked to check a box that states you’ve agreed to our terms and conditions on the guest check out page or when you register with us (recommended). Prevailing laws for settling dispute will be based on the location of the company corporate headquarters.

Description of products

All products available for purchase are described on their specific product page on our website. We always try to represent as accurately as possible every characteristic of the products via photography and copy points provided by designers, suppliers or manufacturers.

We have a policy to continuously source new products so we can provide you with what we consider the best design at the best price, and thus reserve the right to amend the specifications of products, their price, packaging and any service associated at any time, without prior notice. Before ordering, we thus invite you to have a close look at the product description and characteristics, to ensure you are ordering exactly what you require. Please contact us with any questions.

We do our very best to provide you with the best images and description, but unfortunately cannot guarantee that we will always have the exact image of the configuration that you have requested or that the colours and details in website images are 100% accurate representations of the product, and sizes might in some cases be approximate. Please create an account and contact us through the website for swatches and fabric samples.

All products include free delivery to mainland UK unless stated at the checkout. If when checking out you are advised that there maybe a delivery charge to your post code please either proceed with your order and we will contact you or please contact us and we will advise if a delivery cost applies to you. Items that require assembly will be specified on the product page and full assembly instructions will be accessible on the website where available.

Sales

The majority of the products displayed on our website are made to order, this means that manufacturing lead-times are applicable. Each product may have a different lead-time, orders will be consolidated and the product with the longest lead-time will represent the lead-time for delivery. The exception being orders placed from our fast track range which; will be shown separately at checkout with their own lead-time. Consolidating orders enables us to bring you the best possible price and gives you the convenience of one delivery. If you would like any fast track orders consolidated with other standard items so they arrive at the same time, please check the ‘consolidate order’ button at check out and we will endeavour to deliver in one shipment within the stated standard items lead-time.

Lead-times will be advised against every product and the lead-time applicable to your complete order will be advised at checkout. Your actual delivery date will be advised either via email for items sent by courier or a member of our logistics team will contact you (usually a week before) to book in your delivery or installation,

Fast track orders represent products that we will endeavour to deliver in 5-7 working days, next day delivery products will be clearly labelled as such but will sit in the fast track section of the website. Fast track products that require installation may take slightly longer to be delivered and installed due to the schedule of our installation diary, you will be contacted within 48hrs of placing a fast track order to establish a mutually agreed date for delivery or delivery and install.

Next day delivery applies to working days only and will only be possible with orders placed before 3pm on the day before. E.g. orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered on the following Tuesday

At certain periods within the year some of our suppliers have a factory shutdown in order to clean, maintain and reorder the factory to keep producing the highest quality products. If this were the case we would do our best to notify you of the extended lead-time of the product. Like wise during the period over Christmas and New Year extra time maybe required to deliver your order as suppliers will not receive our order immediately due to seasonal shut down.

Prices

All prices are in pounds sterling (£), and are payable in pounds sterling (£), plus any applicable taxes. These prices include delivery to mainland UK, excluding Northern Ireland and the UK islands, additional charges may apply for remote Highlands areas. You will see a message at the checkout if delivery charge may apply, please contact us for further details, or if you place your order we will contact you.

We advertise R.R.P to demonstrate the cost savings we can achieve for our customers due to the large order quantities we place with our suppliers on a regular basis. We deal direct with manufacturers so we cut out the middlemen. We are not responsible for R.R.P as they are advised to us and we will endeavour to update these prices in accordance with our suppliers to the best of our ability.

Purchase of products

Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by us once we have sent you an email order confirmation. Any products on the same order, which we have not confirmed in an order confirmation email, do not form part of that contract. The company shall under no circumstances be held liable for any special losses to specific circumstances of the customer, indirect or consequential losses or for loss of profits, damage or property, or wasted expenditure.

Orders are placed and received via the Internet only at this current time and processed by areabe. Before ordering from us, it is your responsibility to check and determine your full ability to receive the products. This includes ensuring that the product ordered will pass freely into your room of choice, and that they fit in that room (once assembled), can be transported through the front door, stairs, stairwell and doorways, and any other issues that could make the delivery more complicated or impossible to process. All access routes, parking restrictions, lift/goods lift restrictions and dimensions need to be communicated to us at the time of order. Up-to-date mobile telephone number and e-mail address are absolutely necessary to ensure successful delivery of your item.

All information asked on the checkout page must be filled in precisely and accurately. We will not be responsible for missed delivery because of wrong delivery address or an inappropriate phone number. All additional charges or costs due to delivery complications or missed delivery would thus be added to your order invoice.

You have the possibility to cancel your order (on standard non fast track items only) anytime before a 5 working day period from the date of order confirmation. We would then refund you the amount paid for the product except possible handling and logistic costs. Cancellations made after that time may not be possible depending on the nature of the products ordered. Items that are being made specifically for you are less likely to be able to be cancelled, as materials will have been purchased and production commenced. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, the likelihood of areabe. being able to resell them is very slim. Please contact us to determine whether any part of your order maybe refundable. Any change to the order contract will have to be approved by areabe. before any confirmation. We would then advise you if this can be done and what would be the changes and possible additional costs.

Any fast track items that you decide that you want to cancel will need to be done via a refusal of delivery and you will be liable for 1st delivery costs and collection costs which will be deducted from any refund.

Payment

Your debit or credit card is charged for the whole amount of the order when the order is created. areabe. uses one of the most powerful security systems on the Internet. Encrypted using a 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to our servers are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering.

A credit card and necessary information is needed for payment. All orders are paid only through credit cards issued by companies listed on the payment page.

The sale will be submitted for processing as soon as you click on the “confirm” button. You will then receive an email from us to confirm the sale, availability of the product, and expected average delivery date.

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of refusing or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

If you prefer to pay by pro-forma invoice please check this option at the checkout and we will email you a pro-forma invoice. On receipt of your payment we will send you a code to process your order through the website. Please note your order will not be acknowledge until you check out with this code and receive your order confirmation via email, any advised lead-times will be from this date.

Bulk orders – if you’re buying a particular item in a large quantity contact us for exclusive extra discount. 20 of the same item + will usually be eligible for some kind of special terms please contact us with your requirement.

Delivery & Installation

We currently deliver and install to anywhere in UK, with the exception of Northern Ireland and the UK Islands. We do not currently deliver outside the UK.  Delivery costs maybe applicable depending on delivery location, additional charges may need to be added to the order for remote or difficult to access locations that require special attention. The checkout page will show if we require additional funds for the delivery of your order.

Delivery lead times are approximated at the time of order and advised against every product on the individual product page. Fast track items are a standard 5 to 7 working days. Next day items will be advised on the website and only applicable to all orders placed before 3pm on weekdays only.

We work extremely hard with our suppliers to maintain our advised lead-times and the majority of orders are delivered within these dates, if for whatever reason a delay occurs you’ll be informed immediately. Customers who have chosen to register with areabe. can track their orders by logging into their accounts, we try our best to update the status of your order as quickly as possible with the information we have to hand.

Depending on the item's weight, size and quantity, different carriers and services might be used to deliver your order. The majority of standard multi-item or bulkier orders will be delivered via our professional 2 man delivery and installation teams (delivery only orders will be placed in the room of choice) a representative from one of these teams will always contact you approximately a week before delivery to arrange an exact date. They will work with you to mutually agree this date, which suits both parties. Smaller, boxed items will be sent via courier, delivered to a ground floor entrance only and will need to be signed for.

Delivery re-schedule

If for whatever reason you need to change the agreed delivery date you must contact our logistic partner no less than 24hrs before your delivery is scheduled to rearrange 01274 378 220.Deliveries postponed within 24hrs of the agreed delivery date will regrettably incur a £75 cancellation and re-schedule fee.

Installation

If you have specified installation with your order our professional delivery and installation team will contact you approximately a week prior to delivery to arrange a suitable delivery date and gather any further information required i.e. access, parking restrictions, goods lift availability etc.… Please provide accurate and up to date information. Our team needs to work in a clean environment with cleared floors that are ready to accept furniture, if you are having building work, decorating or new carpets etc… please be realistic as to when these works will be completed before scheduling you furniture installation. You will be able to contact our installation team up to 24 hours prior to your agreed installation to reschedule your delivery. Our team will bring the goods into the room of your choice, un-pack and inspect for damage. They will then assemble in a cleared area, position in place and clean down the items. You will then be asked to sign that you are happy with the installation and that the goods have been received undamaged. All packaging will be removed and taken for recycling. If for any reason there is a problem or any damage is discovered during installation, our team will notify you and advise a course of action before they leave the premises, they will not leave until you are completely satisfied that an appropriate course of action has been determined to rectify any issues.

RETURN POLICY & PROCEDURES

We work hard to provide you with the best quality products at the best affordable price, and truly wish you will be pleased with the products you have ordered from our website. However if for any reason you are not, please contact us at to see if we can help.

If your order has been delivered via a courier please open and check your order the day of receiving it and inform us of any transit damage problems immediately. All items and parts of items must be checked for any damage prior to assembly. It is your right and responsibility to check that your delivered products have arrived in perfect condition, before signing the delivery form.

With orders that we have delivered and installed (once completed) you will be asked to check and sign our paper work to state that you are happy with the product and service, that you have received the goods damage free. If there are any snagging items you can make a note of these on the delivery form and sign to say you have received the goods

No goods will be accepted for return without prior authorisation. Once authorised, all goods are to be returned to areabe. in their original packaging and be in a condition appropriate for resale. They must not have been assembled or used in any way. Returned goods will not be refunded if they are received damaged and the risk remains with the buyer until we satisfactorily receive the goods. Proof of return will remain with the buyer.

The vast majority of our products are manufactured to order within the order lead-time. Unfortunately goods, which are made to order or have been assembled onsite, cannot be refunded unless they are faulty. For this reason, we ask you to carefully check your orders, including dimensions, before submitting them. We are happy to help with your order if you are unsure of the details required. Contact us

The above conditions do not affect your statutory rights. If the delivered items do not fit your order, are damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund or replacement. areabe. must be notified of damages within 24 hours of delivery. We will ask you to send us a photo of the damage for our records and to assist us in taking appropriate action.  areabe. strongly recommends that any visible damage to packaging is clearly marked upon the delivery note prior to signature.

For goods under warranty, if the fault is deemed to be a manufacturing fault, the product will, at our discretion, be either repaired onsite, replaced or refunded free of charge with no further liability. Our manufacturing partners may contact you directly to deal with the matter.

5 year Guarantee

All products sold on the areabe. website are protected by a minimum 5 year guarantee. We underwrite all of our manufacturers warranties which safe guards you if for whatever reason they cease trading. All products are warranted against manufacturing defects, with the exception of moving parts (i.e. castors, drawers and other mechanisms) and seating upholstery, which is subject to usage related wear and tear. areabe. reserves the right not to apply a warranty if the product has been subjected to improper use, or if a product has been tampered with by a third party or by any non-authorised personnel.

General Terms relating to website use
